Chinese Dessert - Yuanhsiao

There's only one week remained before SPRING BREAK!! Although there're sill tons of things need to be done next week, I'm still excited about this coming holiday. I'm sooooo exhausted now because of J4804........ and need a break right now.

This week's dessert is from my hometown, China. People always have it in the Lantern Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. The dessert is called Yuanhsiao.
Yuanhsiao is sweet rice-flour dumpling. It can be filled with different stuffings, including sweetened bean paste, fruit jams, black sesame,etc......Among these, the most popular is black sesame.

Unlike before, people usually add some other stuff when they eat Yuanhsiao. Today, I added bubbles and milk. It's really delicious. But next time, I will try to add chocolate milk or sweet soy milk!!

Yuanhsiao makes me miss my home soooo much......
